Dr. Jason Bloom is a highly skilled and pioneering facial plastic surgeon with extensive training in his field. Operating his private practice in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, Dr. Bloom is a distinguished surgeon who is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS).
Having completed his undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Michigan, Dr. Bloom pursued residency training in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, where he held the esteemed position of chief resident. Following his residency, he was selected for a prestigious fellowship program in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Bloom has honed his surgical skills and techniques by integrating innovative methods and experiences gained from his mentors.
Dr. Bloom's expertise has led him to work at renowned institutions. He serves as an adjunct assistant professor of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor (Adjunct) of Dermatology at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Additionally, Dr. Bloom is the co-director of the Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship program offered through the University of Pennsylvania and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
With over forty journal articles and book chapters to his name, Dr. Bloom remains actively involved in academia. He imparts his knowledge by teaching residents, participating in clinical trials and research studies, serving on academic advisory boards, and delivering presentations at national and international conferences in the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
